Continuous walling is used predominantly where the client wishes to maximise the internal floor area or in instances where cladding cannot incorporate horizontal deflection joints at each floor level.
Normally constructed on the exterior of the building, continuous walling means that the steel framing system (SFS) is designed to oversail the structure.
The SFS is supported at the base of the primary structure by either the concrete slab or ledger angles and cleats are fixed to accommodate deflection.
