EOS are pioneers in the design, manufacture and supply of a wide range of custom-made steel framing systems (SFS) for the offsite markets. For over 16 years we have maintained a safety-first approach, providing the construction industry with quality, cost effective panelised and volumetric modular systems which deliver high performance buildings that are safe, robust and energy efficient.
EOS is part of Etex, the groups combined expertise in drywall, passive fire protection and steel framing systems has created a range of unique solutions to form rapid weathertight building envelopes complete with internal linings, partitions and penetrations.
When individual building components from different manufacturers are brought together, the responsibility is placed on the specifier to assess whether the chosen combination of materials will deliver the required levels of performance. Warranties can be very difficult to obtain or non-existent.
In collaboration with Etex brands – Siniat, Promat and FSi, EOS has identified the need for a systems-based approach and has developed, tested and warrantied a range of complete loadbearing and non-loadbearing walling and flooring systems to overcome the uncertainty surrounding specification decisions.
Current regulations tend to deal with individual products and how they perform in laboratory tests. This is not enough. We believe material providers should have comprehensive full-scale testing regimes that study the performance of products working together to see how they interact under ‘real’ circumstances, like under fire conditions or when exposed to wind and rain. Applying advanced offsite manufacturing technology and the latest testing our Thrubuild®, Thruwall® systems and Pre-Assembled Frames deliver structures faster, with assured performance built in. All components are rigorously tested together as a complete system to ensure compatibility, enabling us to award an Etex warranty.
After having completed rigorous fire, acoustic, weathering, airtightness and mechanical testing – when Thrubuild®, Thruwall® and our Pre-Assembled Frame systems are built using our specified components and adhere to our installation and validation process, they achieve our 30-year warranty. We are confident that these solutions will stand the test of time and this warranty offers complete confidence and peace of mind.
Our highly skilled design and technical teams work in close collaboration with clients to ensure the most challenging of specifications are accurately manufactured and fit first time. All our products are CE Marked under the Construction Products Regulations and by using steel with a protective coating, EOS are confident in the durability of our systems.
Sustainability is at the core of our company’s ethos and operation. Buildings should not only be inherently safe but should also be constructed to stand the test of time and therefore be inherently sustainable.
Making a positive contribution to the environmental credentials of our projects, EOS embrace advanced offsite methods of construction and apply design for manufacture and assembly (DfMA) protocols to value engineer every light steel frame structural system.

National targets for carbon emission reductions and the drive for buildings that are ‘low carbon’ in operation present a huge challenge to the construction industry – a challenge which the steel construction sector is playing a major part in addressing.
Light steel framing systems minimise the impact on the environment and offers construction solutions to meet challenging targets. Low and zero carbon buildings with high BREEAM ratings are readily achievable using steel construction.
Delivering predictable performance outcomes, advanced manufacturing processes in controlled factory environments enables repeat quality every time – eradicating the risk of onsite variability. Operating to BIM Level 2, our expertise combines digital design technology with state-of-the-art framing machinery and proven assembly processes – achieving fully framed panels that do not require jigging. Sophisticated software transfers design information directly to our production plant where we manufacture to accuracies that exceed construction industry norms.
Time is a critical factor – as a major project delivery strategy, factory-based offsite construction methods reduce construction time by up to 50% achieving radically reduced build times, quicker occupation and ultimately, a faster return on investment. Offsite manufacture for onsite assembly provides a clear schedule for high outputs, with stringent systems to track progress, milestones and enable the smooth collaboration between contractors and clients.
Light steel frame provides a lower cost option, whilst maintaining superior quality. Steel is unaffected by shrinkage, resulting in dramatically reduced maintenance costs down the line. EOS guarantee a very competitive pricing structure, there are no hidden expenses for deflection heads or transport. We can provide a ‘lump sum’ total cost which will not alter, providing the specification remains unchanged. We have a dedicated in-house estimating team to ensure that we meet precise requirements, considering the locality and site specifics.
The team at EOS are well known for building excellent working relationships based on customer needs.
